Zeev Buium

Left handed USA-NDDP defenseman with good size and puck handling skills and a crisp laser. Fluid skater with a long stride. Concentrates on taking care of business in his end, but when he decided stop take off, he has good acceleration and carries through the neutral zone looking for plays. Displays a hard low shot. Uses his body around the corners and the crease.  A under-six foot swashbuckler with four way mobility and an attacking mindset. His head stays up, and is very instinctive at reading the ice, quickly reacting and jumping up into plays. Uses his feet to control any passes that aren't on target. His swiftness afoot and his ability to track back keep him from being on the wrong side of the puck. Does play with narrow margins defensively, but comes up with defensive plays because of his fast hands, head, and feet. Very willing to throw his body around against bigger forwards on the attack down low. Quickly gets on his horse to transition to defense. He is not as instinctive his end as he is as an attacker, but is an accurate stick checker, displays leverage in contact, and footwork that lets him get back into areas when he has started elsewhere to defend. Handles transition from his end well as an accurate breakout passer and also a willingness to carry it out. Smart player with an attacking mindset. Looks like a future power play QB and point shot.
