Smooth skating undersized centre with a heavy release, speed and a high hockey IQ. Not big, but strong on the man and puck. Can shoot the puck hard from far outside with success. Has a a nice first step and uses it as he slashes through the seams in the attack zone using quick edge transfer at high speeds. Surprisingly strong on the puck for a player his size. Retrieves loose pucks and quickly passes them to teammates in new areas and is a strong puck distributer. His defensive game is coming along nicely.
