Everyone will sometime root for the underdog and in this case it is a diminutive Swedish defenseman who is 5 foot 8 and 160 pounds when soaking wet. He may lack the physical tools but he makes up for it with his heart and soul. Dillon stood just a measly 5 feet 2 while a member of the Seattle Thunderbirds in the WHL, and by the time he had signed with the Stars, Dillon had grown a foot since his WHL draft. So although the odds might be against it, we can dream, right? Well you have to love this angry little midget finishes checks hard, and has an aggressive attacking way of playing defense. Displays an outstanding first step.Steps up to challenge attacker while he trusts his gaps. Will make creatively smart plays with the puck on offense. Sees power play time. He cannot be compared to Emil Andrae, whose much more poises and accomplished with the puck, but maybe he will grow or someone will that a chance.
