In his second year in the USHL, he has been an impact performer from the back end with two-way presence and is outstanding in transition, getting back to retrieve and move pucks effortlessly. As he continues to grow and improve his skating and offensive skills, he looks like one of the top defender prospects in the USHL.He must focus on improving his defensive positioning and the little things that make a difference in his own end. His vision and decision making are questionable, as he forces dangerous passes in his own end and isn’t always in position to support the rush, gets caught far up the ice. Given his offensive dimension and championship pedigree, he will get his name called on day two of the draft, but he needs to be a consistent offensive threat if he is being drafted as one.
