Big rugged Finnish workhorse checking centre with in-close finishing capabilities and playmaking ability. Very smart and has some puck skills, but his aggressiveness and ability to be a difficult centre to play against is his current calling card. Very responsible as a rugged three zone player whose hard work brings offensive chances for his club. Cycles well down low and wins a lot of board battles. Strong on the puck and skates well for a big man. No one is going to call him flashy or talk about his hands, but he is rugged and plays physical all over, and very determine ned forechecker. Not sure how much upside is there, but he certainly has more than one attribute that says he has a decent chance to develop.
