Jarome's son arrives as a Centre-forward virtually guaranteed a first round selection because of his high floor as scoring prospect and his Swiss army knife abilities and his improved development. Not faster, or the most skilled but a high paced factor on most of his shifts. A high motor and high end skating will have many teams sold on his ability as a top-six NHLer, but also a player who isn't going to fail playing farther down or inserted high through the front skilled lines. At this juncture, he projects as more of a playmaker than a finisher, but so far, up until January 2024, he has more goals than assists. A high effort kid who seems able to settle in as a winger who can also move to the face-off dot when needed. Has high end hockey IQ and instincts that fuel his ability to make excellent passing decisions, which is why he projects high end potential along with a bit higher floor than most of the 2024 class prospects.
