SCOUTING REPORT

Nimble big man who handles the puck well, and has a terrific shot and release. Lacks top end speed / seperation, and involvement in his play which may be due to carrying too much playing weight. Besides needing to improve his first step, he also lacks urgency in his defensive end when he doesn’t have the puck. Third year eligible centre who was a huge disappointment until he finally took a qualitative jump this year He always had excellent physical tools with his six foot four, two hundred and ten pound frame. HThe light started to come on, that illuminated the fact he had to work harder using his gifts to compete at a much higher level.  He is so difficult to move off the puck. Increased his intensity in the dirty areas and Hand drives the net with power while the puck is protected by his hips.He rifles pucks with a quick flick of his wrists. He had a 35 goal 95 point season with Dubuque, second in the league scoring. It is difficult to ignore the great leap he has taken.  It will be difficult for teams to pass on his possible upside. Committed to the University of North Dakota.
