Tall, lanky and very young right shooting rearguard with a sound two way game along with decent vision and the ability to make crips passes on the move. He is in his second year in the QMJHL, after being selected No. 5 by Rimouski in the 2022 QMJHL entry draft. On the defensive side, there is still work to be done in his game away from the puck, but he is very responsible and defensively aware with fairly nimble footwork for such a big kid. He has primarily focused on his defensive side and taking care of business there, where he pushes pucks up ice quickly and efficiently when he gains possession. He deploys good stick placement to control gaps. He is nowhere close to a big banger, but will use his big body to outmuscle opposing players in the corners, pin and seal along the boards, and to move men out of the front of the net. His offensive side is just starting to bloom. While positioned on the attacking blue line, he opens his hips well and gets good torque on his long stick for heavy point shots. He's settled in nicely in his own zone, so the next step is to see if he can make more plays and get more shots on net in the offensive end. He is big, mobile smart and keeps adding to his offensive repertoire. Poised and intelligent at both ends, it is more a matter of improving his strength and defense to be considered as viable early round selection.
