The jury is still out if this second year eligible hyper aggressive backliner can reign in the needless stupid penalties he takes with regularity…just can’t seem to not retaliate. Soundly built and possessing a solid North-South stride, he likes to wheel up with the puck on his stick. Not the most mobile or proficient stickhandler and is caught more than a few times in the attack zone, after his forays go awry. Loses focus and position and will end up backing into his net minder and clogging his ability to set and save. His gap control needs work. Maybe the right coaching staff can get him on track, because he can be a player who provides spark and explosion to a team. Shows some physicality, and heaviness.  Needs work on his pivots when the puck tarnsitions to the opposition. Committed to the University of Denver, where hopefully he will learn to play a smarter and more disciplined game..
