Big strong aggressive centreman who uses his big body to engage against the wall, and dominate down low on the cycle. Always in the heat of the action, he is able to separate opposing defenseman from the biscuit, and creates his own chances by attacking the crease and sniffing out rebounds. He is a powerful skater and a bit of a long strider and probably needs to glide less and keep his feet moving in stride. Displays a neat toe drag as he goes right into his shot. Covers when his defenders are unable to get back into position. Plays a solid three zone game and is an key power play performer who can make quick feeds into the slot area with touch passes.
