This centre-wing captained the Swedish team at the Hlinka-Gretsky Cup and lead by example with 5 goals and 4 assists in the five games. After a career as a centre he was asked to play open the right flank at the Junior 18 and 20 levels, which put him on an off-wing with his stick on the side closer to the net. The idea was to take one of the best long ranger shooters and give him more chances to launch pucks from mid-ranger to open up the looks. He already has player the left flank along with centre. He won the Five Nations Tourney U-18 game against Finland with a last minute power play one-timer. His skating is high end and his lateral mobility allows him to carry pucks in between the layers of coverage, spin away when pressure comes, and move and attack from the new uncovered area. He isn't necessarily a blazer, but his speed is good coupled with his lateral cutting ability. displays good balance, and a good glide off sharp edge work. His puck handling and speed make him a very dangerous offensive player who does a nice job of getting himself open. Plays the game at a very high tempo using his quick soft hands to knife through in tight traffic with excellent control. He handles his teams zone entires on the power play and then sets up on the half wall. Very creative and not shy of shooting if thinks it the best option, because he is a finisher who can undress defenders off the rush and in the attack zone. This stocky attacker is also a strong forechecker and causes issues and turnovers that become his dangerous looks for his team. He is very willing to engage physically block shots and back check strongly. After playing so well in the international tourneys, he returned home to Frõlunda to look underwhelming and downright sluggish. May project as an NHL winger.
