Son of Radek, he was behind the curve all last season and even in April Under-18s. Presently taken a qualitative jump in his positioning and awareness of on ice situations. He's always had an advanced offensive game and puck skills that allowed his to be confident enough to carry pucks in the neutral zone or make good quick decisions in his outlet passes or crisply carry out in transition. He is long and rangy, and excellent in transition. The improvement has come in his end where he is now using his frame to leverage attackers off the puck and see how the attacks he must defend are developing, and moving into the best defensive positions try and stifle them. A crisp outlet passer with good agility and gap control. Plays physical down low. Displays a hard low shot. Projects as a defensive defenseman who clears the front, has a quick stick to disrupt opposition passes, and is a good puck manager despite his lack of high end skating and carrying skills.
