Big Finnish defender with mobility, puck handling skill and a two-way game. One of Finland's top four available backliners, he is confident and skilled enough to carry the puck end to end, all the way to the net, and behind, looking for the warp around. He is hockey smart, and provides a safety outlet for his defensive partner if he is under forechecking pressure> His physical tools allow him seal attackers off on the boards, and unearth the pucks they thought they possess. Good in transition and his long stick is generally in the passing lanes. Very aware defensively and growing into a nice draft option.
