Energetic two-way Russian forward already playing regularly with Torpedo against men in the KHL, he shows determination and hard work as he chips in points. He projects as a potential NHL player based on his competitiveness, work ethic, and his foot speed. He has excellent quick feet, is sharp in his movements, and an really good forechecker who doesn't give the opposing puck carriers much time to think about their options when he is bear down on them, He supports the puck vey well, is very willing to in puck battles with the older, stronger KHL foes, and engages frequently albeit less success in winning them. He squick to the battle areas and consistently causes danger with his precense. I won't go as far as calling him a sniper, but in close, he has good skill that allows a quick release. At this juncture, his stick work and shot are average, but still displays on ice persistence, and strong play without the puck.
