He backs up defenders with is intimidating speed and his midseason trade to Hamilton He is hockey smart and his strong vision contribute to his sharp offensive instincts and his ability to finish. His abilities as playmaker and a scorer are both on the upswing. He has a clear understands of how to set up his shots, where to move, how to move, and at what speed to get his stick on a pass and fire it in. He anticipates the flow of the play, keeps the puck in control of his team with short passes, and then pops open.Displays a quick snap wrist shot that flies off his stick. Undersized and very thin and in need of muscle and girth, but he already has established himself as a goal scorer. Although, at this juncture, he is better as an off-puck player, offensively and defensively. Displays clear top-six upside.
