Matvei Shuravin

Talented two way rearguard with high hockey IQ and great size. Moves well on his skates with excellent mobility. Makes good decisions as his anticipation level is high end, and that results in him usually being the first one to the puck. His size enables him to  protect the biscuit with his size. He is good at measuring the distance of on coming possession traffic and gets good gaps against them. He uses his long reach to poke pucks away from opposing attackers. Also effective in the offensive end, by using his strong shot, or moving in off point to unload hard heavy wrist shots. He will have to continue to improve his explosiveness and make decisions quicker.His biggest negative is there is very little aggression in his game.
