Undersized two-way defenseman with a high hockey IQ, processing the situations really well. He needs to add some strength and improve his skating. Plays with his head on a swivel to scan all threats and options. Although at this juncture his skating is lacking a true burst, he displays good small area quickness on his pins and with his hands and is able to handle pressure and exploit outlets. He reads his options coming out of his zone on transition. He has issues to his game that are correctable;he skates upright his pivot lack quickness to stride because his legs are over-extended in his stride. This also more competition to pucks shot in his end, because he loses his leads to the puck on pivots. He also struggles on his exits if he comes under pressure. His physicality is limited, and he can get outmuscled on 50/50 battles, but improving the skating posture and edgework are paramount.
