Jacob Murray

A big framed defender capable of smooth skating plays, good use of his reach, as well as use of his body. Has a heavy wrist shot. Pin and seals opponents to the boards. Very aware of all the pieces when the opposition transitions out of their zone, never getting left flat footed and is able to step up and intercept any soft passes. Hasn't developed good puck skills or started to emerge as the shutdown defender we thought he coukld be. Needs time but is a nice developmental project.
