Isaac Howard

Another strong instinctive USA developed scoring forward, and he may be the third fastest of the current USA-NPT draft lot. Some critics say he is the benefactor of his linemate's creativeness, high tempo skating and natural instinctiveness and fast hands.(He played with both Frank nazar and Logan Cooley a lot.)  A really good passer who keeps his head up, and anticipates where the shooting lanes will open. He flies down when the opposition is trying to transition, and his forechecking disrupts breakout attempts. On the attack, he stretches defenses with his quick pace and stretches their defense with vertical speed and his ability to catch passes in full stride. He gets on defensive puck carriers very quickly. Displays fast hands and quick skilled puck handling in tight areas and battle zones. He takes every opportunity to shoot pucks on net from everywhere. A high temp player with a separation gear. Every shift, he is a breakaway waiting to happen, whether he is a third line NHLer or higher. He was the number one scorer overall in the World U18's this year. Committed to the University of Minnesota-Duluth where he will work on power adding more quickness to his release.
