A 200 foot winger with size and hands who brings heat on the forecheck and when the puck is on his blade. A good stickhandler who plays strong on the biscuit, and unfazed by contact, he finds the open areas between coverage to unload his shot. Plays hard with physicality in all three zones, while being a solid offensive generator. Displays a strong one-time, hockey smarts and high tempo. An untapped raw talent. While he combines the qualities of a power forward with above average skating and puck skills, he has had trouble finding a role on Windsor team that is on their way to a championship run after playing up and down the line up, at both wing and centre. Right now this big doorprize appears lost when he is sorting out his defensive zone duties and gets caught puck watching in his own end. He is quick to find open ice and be available for outlets. Still not confident to carry the puck in the neutral zone, and will defer possession or chip it forward into the attack zone. Uses his big strong stride to drive to the net or to the corners fetch loose pucks. Needs to use his hard snap shot much more than he seems to. A long term project with high upside.
