Big centre with a heavy grinding game who is a strong skater on the puck, with sharp changes of direction in the corners to gain separtion after unearthing pucks. Dominates down low in the cycle, and is difficult to move off the puck. Has a strong stride and acceleration and funnels pucks to the middle and takes strong, hard shots on the net. A grinder whose physicality stands out. Show an excellent effort at coming back in his end on the back check. In the Hlinka Tourney against the US, he made a shot block when his net was wide open in the 3rd period to perseve his teams one goal lead late in the contest.
