Dominik Badinka

A big long-haired right shooting defender from Czechia, who left the Finnish U-20 league with Jokerit in 2022, the in 2023 transferred to the Malmo Redhawks program in Sweden, where he played U-20 and has seen 25 games with Malmo in the SHL, and mans the blue line well. Keeps puck in on offensive forays. Has good vision, and when carrying, will see the open space and fill it, while also surveying his passing options. There is no panic in his game and a confidence that he will choose his options well. On the Power play he is used on the half wall. A decent balanced skater who needs work on his agility, but battles and has upside as a solid backliner with size.
