A giant right shooting centre-wing who spent half this season with St. Andrew's College where he had 62 points in 26 games, but at Christmas suited up in the USHL for Sioux Falls Stampede for a couple games. He planned to return to St. Andrews (high school) after holiday break, but the Sioux Falls GM there is a fine chance he comes back and finished the USHL season with the Stampede. In two previous stints in the USHL he was afforded 12 minute per game playing time as a fourth liner. Has the best set of raw tools in Ontario. Can shoot, skate and score at will at the level he is currently playing. Has a smooth stride and very soft hands. Some earmark him as first rounder, but his effort and uneven physicality throughout the season may put a in that thought balloon. For such a dominant physical specimen, his lack of compete/ battle level stand out as a negative. He presently spends more time gliding and puck watching than he should, as he could be taking over games if he wanted by flipping the switch. He needs to improve his consistency. He is now committed to Boston College. His off the charts physical gifts and hie ceiling will get him selected, but will remain a high risk / high reward long term project who might just develop into force.
