Massive right handed left wing with physical tools and and tremendous skill, but raw and Russian. Displays good stick handling ability but his best asset is his big shot. He is an excellent skater for a big kid, and hasn't any issues working the corners and walls. Offensively, there is great upside, because he is spry, resetting between the circles while line mates are on the cycle. Has a nose for the net. Has not shown consistency in his production in both the MHL & KHL, and his lanky frame needs to fill out and get stronger to with puck battles and close quartered play. He is a finisher who handles quick passes from linemates. His skating is high end and explosive, but he still hurries his decisions and loses focus when he has pucks taken from him. His skating is a bit upright and it allows smaller players to throw him off stride, and to dislodge pucks. Still learning to use his size and process the game better. You would love to see more aggression and edge to his big finesse scoring, but that may come.
