There were conditioning issues, compete issues, and a need to get in hockey shape to be a better all around player. Improved his skating throughout the season, as that was why he didn't get selected in his first year of eligibility. There is time for improvements to happen. Has smarts effort and brings energy and a quick release. Will grind it out in the corners. Plenty of intensity, and is now much better without the puck too. Committed to the University of Minnesota.
