Thick undersized winger plays strong on the stick to receive a pass for a shot, and under pressure still gets his shots off. A good stickhandler in flight, he is good on the give and go, and fearless in heavy traffic, but in general he relies far more on his speed than any grit, or hard competitive bite. Finds the creases in coverage and has a one timer the opposition may be viewing when he does. Will sneak behind neutral zone coverage looking for the long pass that might put him in alone. Good at tying opposition players up in one on one battles. Most of his points are off the power play. A work in progress but there are positives to like.
