Beau Akey

Modern day puck carrying defenseman for Barrie Colts. Only average in height and stature, he possesses elite feet, and a ton of puck skill. He uses his outstanding four direction  ability to carry up ice or activate into the attack zone. Can make the long home run pass to spring teammates on breaks. He relies on his positioning and skating agility to defend. Can be beat when he plays with too much finesse and not enough contact. Is a creative set up man who quarterbacks the second power play, but his strength lies in his ability to neutralize enemy chances with his feet.
