Artur Falzov

Big energetic Russian winger with good size and skill set. He is on the puck quickly, strong on the forecheck, and wins pick battles. Is a really good decision maker with tremendous speed. The game’s speed seems to rocket up when he hits the sheet. In addition to his great boots, he is a solid stickhandler who can weave through traffic with good moves. In his days in Russian juniors role was an expanded one as an energy forward who worked much harder all of the ice and played the body rather than the facilitator that created dangerous looks for the offense, as he is now being asked to do, playing with older guys. He doesn’t apply those physical aspects in the KHL, so far.
