Saku's son is a right handed centre who was a bit off the radar, but has made a geyser like rise and landed him on Liiga now playing against men. Has taken big steps in his development after a growth spurt that added 6 inches to his height and he parlayed this with continued weight training and he now has to be considered a late blooming dark horse in 2024. His first international exposure was at the Five Nations Tournament and it was evident that he now put his game on an entirely new level. He still is slightly build and lacks strength, but that is understandable as a late bloomer, and his lack of experience and and strength reveal themselves. His quickness and agility make him a good forechecker. he has first step quickness, and acceleration, and is a fine overall skater. He gets to pucks quickly. Very slippery along the wall. Show good work ethic in his puck pursuit. He is able to receive passes and gets them under control and can handle them at speed. Has good vision plus and finds the open man off the rush. Right now he looks like a useful player as part of a unit as opposed to the keystone of that unit. Bloodlines are in play, so I think there is more than a good chance he goes off the board basic of that.
