In a rare loan, he was able to come overseas and showcase his abilities in North America as a member of the Muskegon team, temporarily filling a vacancy in the line-up when two Lumberjack players were representing their respective countries in the 2013 IIHF Under-20 World Junior Championship in Ufa, Russia, and he scored two goals and seven points in his 11 game stay. Finished the year as the player in the J-20 SuperElite with the most goals (29) and tied for second in total points (46). Power skating wing with a good release. He goes top the front fearless and finishes his checks.
