Younger brother of Blackhawks 5th round selection, Jake Galvas, is also left defenseman and similar to his brother he has left his home junior team, Olomouc HC, where he was scoring at a point per game pace last season, to join a Bílí Tygři Liberec, a Czech senior club, to play against better competition inside his homeland. His father was a long-time Extralegal defenseman so he comes from hockey stock. Slightly built at 5'!0, 150lbs. he competes with confidence and has no problem handling the puck. He displays good footwork combined with good composure and doesn't wilt under pressure. Hockey smart and always active. Has player off-handed right side.
