Son of the former NHLer, he plays a hard-nose style that is similar. His physical play has been known to cause momentum swings in games. Sees the ice well, and reads situations well. He is more of a set-up guy than a scorer, and continued progress in that area may improve his draft standing. He has committed to North Dakota.
