A flashy, explosive puck carrier who is an excellent skater who has a high skill set and high pace that ends with him strong on the puck and driving to the net to score. Uses his speed to backcheck pucks away from the unsuspecting opposing players, and quickly transition up-ice to the attack zone. He's lightweight at this juncture who has trouble when the opposition gets a bead on him. His shot needs more mustard and he isn't going to instill fear from the perimeter if he has it, but he has excellent balance and body control and is able to let off dangerous shots while seemingly on the wrong shate or turning at top speed. He makes defenders take penalties with his push. Has been quiet in the early part of his season, which had in my opinion, knocked him out of first round considerations, but had an excellent Under-18 tournament, scoring with quick snappers, incredible solo efforts and more than one breakaway. Has the power moves to bring out the puck from behind the net and deke his way inside.
