A control the pace playmaking centre. His fast hands and reflexes aid in many of his face-off wins, and is no stranger to body contact. An athletic skater who needs very little knee bend to generate power to take the puck straight up the ice. He battles free from checks and can walk off the boards if not pressured. Leads on the ice using his fast hands steal pucks and throw pre ise passes to teammates about to fill seams. Is stong on the cycle even though he isn't the biggest player. A high energy guy who is adapt at making sure he gets pucks towards the net, and is excellent in his stop/starts up and down the sheet. A hard passer who has an accurate slapper and quick wrister. Strong in the dot. Continues to improve as his draft year continues.
