This is what I wrote last year in his first year of eligibility: A big raw kid who is a bit of longer term developmental guy in that he hasn't put all the pieces together yet. Has skills but need to be a consistent game to game factor.
After being traded away to North Bay, his confidence level soared and continued this season as if he was going to prove to the NHL scouts they made a mistake they now could correct. Has soft hands around the net and is a net front presence. His skating continues to improve and he has been quite good in the face-off area too. Second year eligible who is again looking to hear his name called.
