Even though there are hitches in his skating, I am sure he working to clean up, this young man is a well coached disciplined big defenseman who keeps himself in good position and fits the bill as smart all-around player. Plays with a fast stick always poking-checking at the puck when the carriers are in range. When his team losses passion in the offensive zone, he has excellent open ice gap control in thoses transitions. His size and long strides allow him to back quickly. On offense, he makes hard seam passes to breaking attackers. Fills the passing lanes in his end and boxes out the front well. Makes himself a good outlet, and can hit pressured outlets on the money. SThis huge left shooting defender is still developing.
