Slightly undersized this London winger manage a point per game pace during the shortened season. Possesses a high hockey IQ, nice feet with powerful straight ahead speed, light edging and strong playmaking instincts. An opportunistic player who can be elusive in tight spaces and able to get loose open up his stick in traffic without hesitation. Very good puck pursuit player who gets in quick on the forecheck, sometimes stealing pucks from behind the carriers. He is an underrated shooter with a deceptive release point on his shot. Has a clear understanding of how to play both ends, and plays the half wall boards on the power play. His high end skating and his willingness as an undersized/undeveloped junior to battle in all areas bodes well that he shows more improvement as he adds muscle so he can truly finish his checks. Always ready to score, and compete against stronger competition that can get the better of him. Needs time but there tis lots to like.
