Small elite scorer who plays in one gear: overdrive. Fearless in all areas and continually bouncing off wall pressure, his stick is alway on the ice and is always facing the play. He makes things happen when there seems to be no ensuing play. His speed is not confined to a straight-line, he has the lateral agility to slash through skating lanes and grab loose pucks all over the sheet. He is just fast; not fast for a small guy, but faster than most small guys. He finds the soft open gaps and capitalize on them because he is an elite puck transporter with strong puck management abilities. Receives passes like an advance player and can sneakily release his strong shot as quickly as his ability to use his stick work and passing ability to create a chance for his teammate. The Kamloops comet is a joy to watch one on one when he plays with a defender as he makes his final shot or pass. Was a member of the Canada’s 2021 IIHF Under-18 World Championship team.
