Logan Cooley

USA programs' top player is left shooting centre Logan Cooley. undersized but really solid pro material. He an overpowering shot, but nonetheless Creative, deceptive an accurate. Constantly moving and a puck robber in the neutral zone, in the American Prospects game when there was a fun and less competitive nature to the play, he flashed the between the leg and behind the back passes that have brought fondness an attention to Zegras.  Cooley will succeed in the NHL with his  complete game (on PK too), his incredible strong stick-handling ability and passing, face- off prowess, smarts, and he MAY be more of an NHL right winger straight away. As a centre, he lacks strength and siz,e but has a nice short burst and is a sound zone entry guy. His skating has significantly improved. Already so smart and skilled in small areas, he draws a crowd and sends the puck elsewhere. He needs muscle.  He is committed to the University of Minnesota where he will join fellow USNTDP teammates Cruz Lucius, Ryan Chesley and Jimmy Snuggerud as freshmen in 2022-23. He works hard in the defensive zone and he's no consolation prize either.
