Big power winger with skill and competitiveness and plenty of fiestiness. Gives the opposing team trouble in both ends of the ice. Is the play driver of his line and is an offensive leader. Always plays to win with a chip on his shoulder, and will drop them in defense of a teammate. Is non-stop in puck pursuit and there is scoring ability as part of the package. Wins puck races and moves through traffic very well for a big guy. Makes the opposing puck carriers pay and wants to impose his will on the outcomes. Suffered a season ending knee injury, but it won't wipe away the memories of the urgency you see in his game.
