Winger with a quick stick, who is an accurate passer. A soft passer who can also receive the hard pass on the fly. Wins pucks in contested areas. Shows good anticipation and has a good feet in his lateral skating game, and is an excellent finisher because of his hands. Put together a strong second half when he scored 21 goals after Christmas in this his second season in the OHL and showed a jump from a  22 point rookie season to a sophomore season that saw him score 34 goals and 63 points, now that he was getting first line minutes. Not necessarily fast or more than an average sized frame, he does possess an excellent shot and hands. He is presently under six feet but is big enough to show some dominance at times, but doesn't frequent the greasy areas as much as you would like.  His feet are good but he continues to work on improving his foot speed and starts. A prospect still in development, he has shown goal scoring ability at the junior level.
