Stocky winger who takes the puck hard to the attack zone and manages to hold his edges when the opposition is trying to throw him off balance. Has a strong net front presence, is really really good at watching things and good on the redirect, and when carrying in the attack zone, he reads the movements on the ice before making his decision on pass or shoot, and waits until the screen is set up and shoots, or finds open space looking for the puck back after checking down on his best teammate option to pass to. He has a major league shot, but does he have major league legs? A scorer with a mucker's mentality. Good forechecker who finishers his checks with gusto. Needs to get a bit quicker, but no heart transplant is necessary.
