Was slated to start his second year with the Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds when Covid-19 put the brakes on the league’ season. Unlike many OHL players he didn’t plan an excursion to Europe to secure playing time and actually a raw developing player, it might be a touch fit. He has chosen to stay home and work on training until the OHL restarts. This was an important year in his development being draft eligible, and the virus might hurt his draft grade. He was one of only two OHL defenders invited to the Canadian National Men’s Summer Under-18 Team Selection Camp, although it was also cancelled.NHL scouting teams will have to base a ,let on his upside potential based on his rookie OHL season, which would be that he is an excellent skater and has ability to handle and carry the puck. He has displayed the ability to attack the blue line win entires, a very good shot. Has a good feel and hockey IQ, has shown good ability to get pucks out in transition. Needs to get bigger and stronger and the jury is out as to if he has shown enough all-around to has a team call his name earlier than the late third round.
