Jacob Battaglia

Started the year slow, but is a rugged player who plays a heavy game that he combines with good vision, soft hands and playmaking ability. Playing for a bad Frontenacs team where there is little support, early on, he started on the lower lines and simply kept plugging away and worked his way on the line one, and the first power play. And simply caught fire offensively. Has a good mix of power and finesse, an excellent size/strength ratio and plays a rugged game along the boards and from the circles in. Displays a good understanding of game situations and is always involved in the heavy traffic areas.
