Igor Chernyshov

A big sniping Russian winger with excellent hockey sense and puck control. More of a straight line skater, he plays with high pace, and a powerful acceleration that allows him to blow past defenders in two strides. His carries panic-free as he anticipates and reads defenders well and plays confidently under pressure, maneuvering through open space getting the puck to an open man or using his heavy shot. Also makes use of his long reach against opponents. Projects as a power winger whose fortunes fair better if he is playing with two linemates with high abilities. Shows come commitment defensively, he is pretty passive on defense, and despite his size, rarely plays physically. It remains to be seen if he drops out of the first round due to his chronic shoulder injuries.
