Hayden Fowler

Not the biggest or fastest, this abrasive agitator is one of the older first year eligibles due to his late birthday which may have worked in his favor. He suffered a clavicle injury that had him shelved for three months. He was the Otters’ third leading goal scorer this season with 20, but he along with the other team members were criticized for not stringing together a series of wins against less talented OHL teams and they didn’t show up. Pest type players are always accused of taking needless penalties and Fowler was not with being tagged for one he took at bad times in matches. He has good feet, hands and hockey IQ but he falls in that category of players who need more refinement, but there are nice intangibles to work with on this prospect.
