A slick handed centre who returned to Kingston after a long term injury and is starting to re-develop chemistry with line mates and get going full tilt in the second half of the season. Some might project him as long term developmental project as he has lost so much ice time from Covid shutdown and is now in the catch up phase. He is an up-tempo high paced player who is instinctive in the offensive zone. Uses his creativity and stick handling to play. Has a quick hockey head, sees the developing plays and is resourceful at making his teammates better and constantly in-motion speed and acceleration style help him create offense. There are concerns with his play away from the puck and huis defensive positioning, but they seem to facets he can catch up on.Returned to the lineup following last spring’s injury that kept him out long term, is starting to re-develop chemistry with line mates and get going full tilt in the second half of the season where he left off. He is a slick creative centre who drives play and makes his line mates better. Is instinctive in the offensive zone. Plays a high paced up tempo game causing problems for defenders with his constant motion approach with his speed and anticipation. His hockey mind and hands are resourceful and quick and sees things developing before others do, and making his teammates better and with his constantly in-motion speed and acceleration style helps him create offense. Ends up being in the right place at the right time. This is one of the players who lost development time with Covid and his injury, so there are concerns about his play without the puck and his defensive positioning, but he is now again going to be afforded solid coaching, so I believe it is only a matter of time before he becomes reliable in these facets. Not completely back to full steam, but his second half will determine his final landing point round-wise. So far he hasn't gained traction with his return.
