Dmitri Kuzmin

Undersized Belarusian offenseman who was scheduled to be an OHL import for Flint Firebirds until the Covid hit and he stayed home, playing for Dinamo-Molodechno but promptly placed himself on the Draft radar after opening eyes at the World Junior Under-18s. The quick thinking undersized Belarusian left shooting defender who exploded in front of  the NHL scouts maybe not winning all the puck battles but certainly fearless enough to win his share. Excellent vision and ability to stickhandle and carry up ice and using his quick feet, stick and brain to get the puck to the best option.  Fearless in his jumps up deep into the attack zone leading the rush. On the power play he walks the blue line and displays a well times one timer. At 5' 10", it will be an upward battle to cement a place in the bigs. His speed and smarts helps ellude bigger forecheckers on retrievals and transition passes out of his end.
