Strong physical checking centre with terrific tools that make offensive success against him difficult. Hard checking North-South skater who will blow through the neutral zone. Good stop/start player who quickly gets back when possession changes flow. Good open-ice hitter. Ties up his check after the face off and covers well in all the defensive fundamentals. Uses his stick to angle off attackers and fights hard for pucks all over. The offensive side will have to come as he develops.
