Under sized winger who has produced scoring numbers that look as though they project him to be one of generational player but these numbers are from his play in the Alberta Junior Hockey League, not one of the major junior leagues, so you have to take them with a grain of salt. He finished second in his leagues scoring. Regardless, this young man has game-breaking speed and a top gear that allows him separation from the opposition. Can explosively turn out of his changes in direction, reminiscent of first overall Jack Hughes. He displays pinpoint precision with his passes and is know to burst off the boards and fire no-look phases to his line mates. Displays a heavy one timer that he gets the entirety of his lower body behind. His speed and power catapult him through containment and he is know to bounce off contact. Shows promise of a developing defensive game, by virtue of his fast feet and quick stick. It is always a projection when evaluating players whose success is derived from play against less than the top comnpetition levels. Although he has had to linger in the shadow of his younger brother Matthew, his dominance in the Alerta Junior Hockey league might signal he is a player with a bright future too, He is committed to Denver University where he can take time to build his body and his game. The finished product might be a future NHL impact player.
